What do you appreciate the most about SIRG? The diversity within our team and the projects we undertake, the fast pace, the creativity, the team work, the knowledge exchanges, the liveliness and the reciprocity between peers and the Director.

Nic McDonald

Role: Second year Master of Social Work student.
With SIRG since: September 2024. 
Research interests: Autism spectrum disorder, disability justice, homelessness, queer studies.
What do you appreciate the most about SIRG? I appreciate the space that SIRG holds for people to come together and talk about topics from a variety of perspectives. The environment encourages learning and growth, with the team providing an opportunity for support and collaboration.
What is your favourite memory with working at SIRG? I don't have one specific favorite memory. All of my experiences with the team have been important and meaningful for me.
