Outreach and Action

The UNESCO Chair on Food, Biodiversity and Sustainability Studies engages in outreach and action to highlight opportunities for sustainable food systems transformation, biodiversity protection and promotion, and enhanced community resilience. The Chair works at and across the community, regional, national, and international levels to advocate for solutions that are actionable and transformative. Through our work, we highlight and amplify innovative sustainable food systems practices that are used around the world, for example by smallholder farms and Indigenous land protectors, to showcase their ability to spark systematic change.

In our outreach and actions, we create opportunities to share knowledge, elevate and support our partners, and foster new partnerships and connections. As a network, we aim to build momentum and create lasting systemic change together.
