  • Our popular art+science+gender photo exhibits have travelled around Canada and internationally. Contact us to find out how you can host our exhibits in your venue.

  • TEDWomen: WinS Director Shohini Ghose speaks at TEDWomen 2018.
  • A chat with Jocelyn Bell Burnell: A discussion on the UK Athena SWAN program.
  • Her Spacetime: An evening of art, science and music. 
  • #DistractinglyHonest: An interactive photo-research exhibit on sexism in science. 
  • International Day of Women and Girls in Science: Laurier students attended a UN celebration of the first International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
  • NASA Mars event launch: WinS celebrated the launch of NASA’s MAVEN Mission to Mars! Our WinS director and outreach coordinator were inside the Kennedy Space Centre and shared the experience live on Twitter.
  • Women and Science: A gender-focused conference at Perimeter Institute. 
  • Discovery Square: A community event for children in Kitchener.
  • WinS launch reception: Melissa Franklin, chair of Physics at Harvard University, co-discoverer of the top quark, and the first female tenured faculty member in Physics at Harvard, delivered greetings and inspiration at our launch event in 2012.
