Laurier Summer Institute of Research Methods

The Laurier Summer Institute for Research Methods (LSIRM) is a two-week summer school designed to offer introductory and advanced training in research methods for students, researchers and professionals. 

Workshops are open to everyone. Receive a certificate upon completion.

If you are taking three or more workshops, please contact lsirm@wlu.ca for a discount code before registering. Discount codes cannot be applied after registration. Students from any institution receive a 20% discount with a photo of your current student ID; all others receive a 15% discount.

2020 Pandemic Pivot to Online Workshops

Given the challenging COVID-19 situation, we are offering all of our half-day to two-day workshops fully online through Laurier's MyLearningSpace (Brightspace) platform.

When you register and pay for workshops in CourseStore, you will be:

  • sent a confirmation email from Coursestore confirming your purchase (please save this for your records)
  • added to MyLearningSpace

Non-Laurier Participants

Please use the email address you used to create an account in CourseStore to login to MyLearningSpace; you select your password. Please click here for a system check before you login.
