David Mather
David Mather, MASc, P.Eng., is a lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo. He is jointly appointed by the Department of Mechanical & Mechatronics Engineering and the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering. David is also a PhD Candidate in the Sustainability Management program in the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development within UW’s Faculty of Environment. David’s teaching and research interests are focused on reducing GHG emissions due to the energy-use of buildings and houses—particularly those in cold climates. He has fifteen years of experience as a building energy consultant. His work at evolv1 focuses on assessing and improving the energy and environmental performance of the building systems, especially HVAC.
