Workshop: Improvisation Techniques with Refugee Youth

LCMC hosted Tarek Ghriri and Nour Kadaan on January 9, who shared music creation strategies they have developed in working with newly arrived refugee children and youth. The session screened the microdocumentary on their organization Music from Hope, followed by a participatory music workshop and pedagogy debrief.  Nour and Tarek also performed as Diar Band.
