May 26, 2019 - IMRC Hosts a Quilt of Stories
Please join the IMRC on Sunday, May 26th, from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Balsillie School of International Affairs (67 Erb St. W., Waterloo) for the X Page Workshop's "Quilt of Stories."
The X Page Workshop brought together 19 refugee and immigrant women from Waterloo Region to develop personal narratives of their migration journeys. This began with a 12-week writing and performance workshop facilitated by local artists, followed by a collaborative effort to bring the individual narratives together into a cohesive performance, the "Quilt of Stories."
The performance will be followed by a reception.
