Jenna Ritch
Jenna is currently completing her Masters in Environmental Studies at York University. She had been working as a paramedic for four years and decided to engage in a graduate program because of the deep and troubling linkages she had noticed between health, socioeconomic status, and the climate crisis. Her area of research focuses on exploring strategies to develop more efficient, effective, and just municipal climate policies, particularly regarding energy and buildings. Jenna is a graduate assistant for Dr. Joel Marcus (Co-PI, York), assisting with surveys, reports, and a literature review for the evolv1 project. She has gained valuable research skills and experience through this project that she will apply to will future research endeavors.
